This is a temperature-controlled induction melting system with multi-cavity, which can melt and solidify multi-alloy rod of 5-8 mm diameter at different composition up to 2000°C It is an ideal tool for high throughput material genome research to search new generation alloy.

 Product Description

The 50KTC-M, a cutting-edge temperature-controlled induction melting system with multi-cavity functionality, emerges as a pivotal tool for advancing high-throughput material genome research, specifically tailored for the exploration of new-generation alloys. This system is adept at melting and solidifying multi-alloy rods ranging from 5 to 8 mm in diameter, offering unprecedented versatility in composition up to temperatures of 2000°C.

Diving into its technical prowess, the 15KW Multi-Cavity Induction Melting System thrives on a working voltage of 220V, 50/60Hz, Three Phase power, accommodating a working current spanning 5 to 52 Amps (mandating a 60A breaker). Its operational might peaks at 15KW, with an adjustable output frequency spanning 30 to 80 kHz and an 80% duty cycle. The induction coil, measuring 150mm(OD) x 140mm(ID) x 65mm(H), is engineered for efficiency, featuring air cooling facilitated by a rear fan and fortified with automatic water pressure, over-temperature, and overpower protection. The refractory assembly, a meticulous composition of alumina, encompasses bottom crucible support, crucible holder, and cover.

Temperature control is an art form with this system, employing a digital temperature controller with Automatic PID tuning, empowering users with 30 programmable segments for meticulous control over heating and cooling rates alongside dwell times. Safety nets include overheating protection and thermocouple failure safeguards, maintaining accuracy within +/- 3℃. The B-type thermocouple measures 1/4"x10"L. Operating across a continuous temperature range from 1000℃ to 2000℃, the system includes a high-purity graphite crucible featuring multiple cavities (16 cavities of 6mm dia. and 12 cavities of 8mm dia.), with a size of 2" OD x 1.57" ID x 4" Depth (4.3'' Height). A three-layer refractory liner stands robust against temperatures up to 2000℃.

The quartz chamber adopts a two-end open quartz tube (130mm OD x 122mm ID x 360mm L), sealed with stainless steel flanges at the top and bottom. Monitoring pressures, the system incorporates a pressure sensor, utilizing an Anti-Corrosive Capacitance Diaphragm Gauge with a range up to 3.8x10E-5 torr, accompanied by a 24V, 1A DC power adapter. Precise gas flow control is assured by a compact direct-read flow meter (100-1000 cc/min). The water chiller, with a temperature range of 5 - 30℃, maintains a water flow rate exceeding 16 L/m and a water pressure of 40PSI. The system includes a 156L/m Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump, providing vacuum rates up to 10e-2 torr.

Mounted on a robust steel-framed mobile cart for stability and mobility, safety precautions feature a protective shield of phenolic sheets for the Non-UL Certified version or a clear polycarbonate shield for the UL Certified version, encapsulating the quartz tube for secure operation. Key dimensions include the Induction Heater (18.5"L x 12"W x 17"H), Water Chiller (18"L x 18.7"W x 30"H), and Heavy-Duty Mobile Cart (600mmL x 800mmW x 597mmH).

Covered by a one-year limited warranty with lifetime support, users should note that consumable parts like processing tubes, refractory liners, o-rings, and heating coils are not covered. Safety directives emphasize continuous inert gas protection during experiments, controlling gas flow rates, and maintaining pressure conditions. The system's net weight is 300 lbs, consolidating power, precision, and safety into a singular entity.
