The R1200X-100IC is a 4" rotary CVD rotary tube furnace with 4”*440 heating zones. The furnace is especially good for preparing Li-Ion battery cathode and Anode materials with conductive coating, such as LiFePO3, LiMnNiO3, Si/C etc. This rotary furnace has larger tube diameter (4"OD) combined with adjustable rotating angle, adjustable speed function.

 Product Description

The furnace is an intricately designed system, incorporating a double shell casing with three cooling fans and high-purity alumina fibrous insulation to enhance energy efficiency. Powered by a DC gear motor, the quartz tube rotates at variable speeds from 0 to 10 RPM, and the furnace offers the convenience of electrical tilting up to 30 degrees. The split cover design expedites cooling processes and simplifies operational tasks. Within its single heating zone of 440mm, including a 250mm constant temperature zone, the furnace maintains an impressive temperature uniformity of ±1°C.

 

Constructed with a fused quartz processing tube measuring 100mm O.D. x 90mm I.D. x 1000mm L, the furnace ensures a robust sealing mechanism with 60mm stainless steel flanges featuring needle valves and a rotatable gas connector. Operating continuously at a maximum temperature of 1100°C, with brief spikes up to 1200°C for less than an hour, the furnace guarantees precision temperature control through PID digital temperature controllers with 30 programmable segments. It incorporates an Omega K-type thermocouple with high-temperature tolerance, featuring a 3mm OD and a 6-inch length, complemented by a connector resistant to temperatures as high as 220°C.

 

The furnace's versatility is further underscored by its adjustable tube rotation speed (0 to 10 RPM) and tilting capability (0 to 30 degrees). Operating under a chamber pressure of 10-2 torr, it boasts a power rating of 2.5KW, requiring a voltage supply of 208-240V single phase with a 30 A breaker. The product comes with a one-year limited warranty, though consumable parts like processing tubes, o-rings, and heating elements are not covered but can be replaced separately. With a net weight of approximately 85 kg, the furnace emerges as a dependable and versatile tool suitable for diverse research and industrial applications, ensuring precision and reliability in thermal processing.
