 Product Description

Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) stands at the forefront of rapid powder consolidation technology, utilizing a high-current pulsed power supply to stimulate material consolidation and reaction sintering processes. Its versatility is evident in its ability to tailor the density values of conductors, non-conductors, and composite materials according to specific demands during processing, surpassing the capabilities of traditional methods. SPS not only minimizes experimental time and energy consumption but also preserves the micro-nano structure of materials, rendering it an indispensable tool in scientific research, new material development, and industrial production.

The Spark Plasma Sintering furnace is meticulously crafted with a comprehensive set of specifications to ensure efficiency and optimal performance in material processing. Comprising a stainless steel vacuum chamber, hot pressing system, DC pulse power supply, vacuum system, and hot pressure control system, the furnace operates at 20KW, drawing power from AC380V at 50Hz with three phases. Its output current, digitally controlled within the range of DC0-1500A, and adjustable output voltage within DC0-10V provide adaptability to various sintering processes. With adjustable pulse frequencies ranging from 5 - 255 ms and 2 - 1000 Hz, the furnace exhibits flexibility. It achieves temperatures up to 1200℃ with a K-type thermal couple, or 1600℃ with a B-type thermal couple, maintaining precise temperature control through a Eurotherm temperature controller with accuracy < 0.1℃.

Sintering under pressure is facilitated by a manual-operated hydraulic press with a maximum pressure of 20 T, complemented by a built-in digital pressure gauge with an over-pressure alarm. The furnace features a hot isostatic graphite mold (made in Japan) with customizable die core diameters, ensuring compatibility with diverse customer requirements. The sintering zone measures 100mm, and the vacuum chamber, constructed as a square stainless steel chamber with inner double layers for cooling water circulation, achieves a vacuum degree of 10 Pa at room temperature. The furnace, CE certified, attests to its quality and reliability for a variety of material processing applications, making it an essential asset in the pursuit of technological advancements.
