The Large Tape Casting Coater represents an advanced solution tailored for coating applications, specifically designed to ensure a smooth and uniform coating process while preventing substrate contamination. Utilizing a vacuum chuck and an oil-free vacuum pump, the coater securely adsorbs the substrate, eliminating wrinkles and enhancing the overall coating quality. This is particularly beneficial when coating electrodes for cylindrical cells like the 21700 format.
Operating on a power supply of 208V - 240V AC, single phase, and consuming 2500W for efficient performance, the coater offers versatility with a variable traverse speed ranging from 0-80mm/sec. The film width is controlled during the working process by the width of the film-forming blade, and a movable baffle ensures precise width adjustments. Specially crafted for cylindrical cell electrodes, the coater accommodates various coating dimensions.
The coater's robust platform, constructed from an aluminum alloy flat vacuum chuck, boasts dimensions of 1100mm in length, 350mm in width, and 25mm in height, ensuring stability during operation. Safety and convenience are prioritized with a clear acrylic protective cover featuring a fume exhaust port. The film applicator, equipped with a built-in pushing bar and a micrometer adjustable applicator, offers precision in coating. Heating is facilitated by a bottom heated vacuum chuck with a maximum working power of 2000W, reaching a maximum temperature of 100°C. The temperature is precisely controlled by a temperature controller with an accuracy of +/- 1°C, crucial for the drying process of Li-ion battery electrode sheets.
With a maximum coating area of 1000mm in length and 300mm in width, the coater's physical dimensions measure 1340mm in length, 580mm in width, and up to 920mm in height.
