The versatile roll-to-roll coater on offer presents three distinctive coating methods, each tailored to specific thickness requirements. The cost-effective Doctor Blade method caters to thicknesses from 10 to 200 microns, offering versatility across various applications. The Micro-Gravure method excels in achieving precise and ultra-thin coatings, with thicknesses as fine as 2 to 3 microns. Meanwhile, the highly precise Slot Die method accommodates coatings as thin as 1 micron, providing broad coverage for thinner coatings up to 200 microns. Collectively, these methods ensure flexibility and precision, delivering efficient and accurate results for diverse coating needs.
Equipped with a range of technical specifications, the small roll-to-roll coater operates on a working voltage of 208-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, single phase, with a maximum power consumption of 6 KW and a requirement for a 50A air breaker. Compressed air at 0.5-0.8 MPa is essential for operation (note that the air compressor is not included). The coater accommodates different coating widths based on the selected coating head: Doctor Blade (180mm), Slot Die (150mm), or Micro-Gravure (180mm), providing users with options tailored to their specific requirements.
The Doctor Blade coating head offers two coating modes, continuous and intermittent, selectable via the control panel. With a coating thickness range of 10 to 200μm for dried film, it provides a maximum coating width and length of 180mm W×5000mm L (single side coating). The Slot Die coating head ensures uniform film coating with a thickness range of 1 micron up to 300 microns, featuring a slurry feeding screw pump with a 4-liter tank. The Micro-Gravure coating head, with continuous and intermittent coating modes, achieves a thickness range of 2 to 3μm for dried film.
For the drying mechanism, users can choose from three options: Convection Heating, Infrared Heating, and UV Curing. Convection Heating offers adjustable airflow with a maximum drying temperature of 150°C and a power consumption of 3KW. Infrared Heating reaches a maximum drying temperature of 150°C with a power consumption of 2.1KW. The UV Curing option allows customization of the UV lamp's power and wavelength to meet specific requirements.
The coater's dimensions are L1260mm x W850mm x H1600mm, with a net weight of 1000 kg (2200 lbs). It comes with a one-year limited warranty with lifetime support, excluding damage due to improper storage conditions or maintenance, which are not covered by the warranty.
